Hi
I'd like to join this guild in SWTOR, my sponsor is Avataro ( Ben ), however, having created a profile I can't see where to apply to the SWTOR guild?
Assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Graham |

Hey Graham aka "G money"... and hey SPS I will sponsor his application just so you know Alat.
He's been playing all MMOs since vanilla and his game collection is insane!! Top chap and a worthy addition to the 'selfpreservationsocity' guild for SWTOR release
All the best!

Hi Graham, welcome to the boards.
There's a reason why you can't find where to apply to the SWTOR branch of SPS >.> there isn't anywhere... yet
Make sure you've read the stickies about who we are/how we work and if you could post a bit more about yourself that'd be great.
Will sort an invite out once the game goes live.
Ava: was this the guy who's got a Republic guild set up already?

Hi
Have read the guild info stickies, all seem reasonable. I see no issues there. Sounds like the guild is run with a bit of honour. Nice to see.
Regards info about myself, some info I'm ok about putting out on a global post is as follows:-
Mature gamer ( both in experience and age, my kids are 22 & 25 respectively, my foster daughter is 28 ), with a vast games collection.
And comics. And films. And I've been know to tarry with the odd screaming metal album.
My MMO history goes back to original Everquest, and along the way, Planetside, Age of Conan, Star Trek Online, Warhammer online and of course arguably the best MMO out there, which I've been with since the November of launch year, but I'm having serious reservations about those new Panda types........
I live in South West london and have a nice stable broadband connection.
I'm a total geek in so many ways. Should you require more personal info, I'll send that via PM to the person who makes the decision. |

Alat, yes he is making a guild with his family and close friends called "Beyond Legend". However he wishes to play both sides of the game as im sure some others may do as well.
I'm just really looking forward to this now! |

In that case, can I suggest that if Graham is ok with it, he adds us as an adversary? That way both Beyond Legend and SPS will be on the same server. |

Hey alat,
I take it you understand the guild Graham is forming is sided with the republic? Not sure if I made that clear, will we still be able to add SelfPreservationSociety as a adversary? How would we go about doing this?
His republic guild will be called "Beyond Legend" and obviously we both want to join the sith within "SelfPreservationSociety" and will play both sides religiously.
I know Graham is looking forward to playing both sides and having more people to chat with and get to know in game I have told him about the good old SPS banter and helpfulness. I'm certainly looking forward to speaking with you all again (well those that are coming onto SWTOR)! I do miss you all having now just stopped my WoW subscription (just WoWed out at the moment I think).
When I get the opportunity I will talk to him about whether he would like to play both the republic and sith on the same server - can't see any reason why he would not want to do this though!

Yeah, he means that if Graham creates a Republic guild and puts SPS down as an adversary (An adversary is the opposite of an Ally) then both factions will be on the same server.
I am sure he won't mind, it is just like creating a horde and alliance character on Terenas really.

This sounds like an excellent plan, I'll set about putting SPS as an adversary on the official website, it probably means we will be in the same battlegroup ( to use WoW terminology ) , if not, as some folks have said, the same server.
I am so looking forwards to SWTOR. As much as I love WOW, you have to stop for a while every now and then to let it refresh in your mind, and allow you to play the huge selection of single player titles out there, or, other MMO's.
Then of course, there's SKYRIM. What a life stealer that's going to be.
Cheers
