Blimey few old names on here that I've not seen in some years and then others who I saw at Yanny & my weekend party last summer that seems so long ago now *sigh*
The dogs still chewing on the ciggy butts Fanny left outside his tent!
I think Teranas might even be in my battlegroup as I play on Saurfang the last 18months or so therefore 'cry more' when you see the message Flydd or Hirad own'd you in PvP come up on screen cos it'll mean my kids did the damage and I got the killing blow in
Wu when's the next Houseplants gig? *subtle hint time*
Best wishes all

Hey Ian! It's been a while, and yer the summer is too long ago! Won't see me in the BGs at least cos I suck at PvP
It'd be good to get together again, I'll see if I can lean on Wu... |

Hello Ian, good to hear from you.
Happy New Year to you and the family.
The old guitar has been in its case now for over a year not sure I can even remember which way round to hold it these days!
Daerflin, maybe we can persuade Galehad (who does have a functioning band) to provide us with music for a get together.......... |

Hi hi hi to all as Shelaph used to say and yea I kinda slipped into obscurity many years ago Guy and tend not to do gaming any where as much as I used to, family, cycling and business to deal with etc plus I'm an exercise freak these days too.
Right now to go write an email to Unny & Ommy about beers in town I guess as we still keep up that tradition too
Have a good un

Hey Kaz!
Gaming wise I've not been up to much of late. With a 3 1/2 year old running around the house I don't get as much time as I used to.
I played Warhammer last year quite a bit and enjoyed it, although the woeful lack of thought that had gone into the end game killed that off. I've never been one for repeating the same raids over and over so the lack of new content and challenge in WAR meant I eventually lost interest.
Lack of consistent time was one of the reasons I never got back into Warcraft. Unfortunately, I dabbled on release and again with Burning Crusade but sadly can rarely commit to do 4 hours at a time on a regular basis any more so with most of the population raiding at level 80 I was never really going to catch up or be able to grind for the right gear.
So, in the main I'm dabbling with games and keeping up with what everyone is doing by proxy It's good to still see a few names around from even way back when Unseen University started in Everquest, as well as United Kingdoms and on to ClanUK and SPS
I dare say I'll keep passing though from time to time until I get lured back or we see something like a Warcraft 2 that means I get to start again with everyone else at level 1
Glad to see some familiar names still around and still having fun!! |

Hi Ian long time no see/hear Hope you're keeping well! Can still remember a few blasts in Leicester apart from the liverpool v leicester game which seems to have a cow shed for away supporters!! Someone talked about a get together a little while back but that may be planned for next year ish. Seems far too long a time to wait so in the mean time i will get a band together and organise a do! Erm.......last instrument i played was Trombone at school ( influenced by the Specials )....26 years ago! Bit of a hick up on stage 1 of me getting a band together! I did have a bontempi organ ( Think thats what it was called ) as i wanted to be just like Depeche Mode! But i could only play the chorus of "See You" so thats stage 2 of my band down the pan!!...... No worries i have a guitar in the loft made of wood! i bought some "learning magazines" and was able to strum a few chords of Wild wild wood by Paul Weller! Hmmph i'm half way there!!
Ok, Gig in my Garage next weekend! This is where stage 3 falls down.....i have no Garage! OK forget the band! Just shout when you're in london with the crew Will be great to meet up! |
